Giants-Vikings Moved To Detroit Following Collapse Of Metrodome Roof

By Marcus Vanderberg

According to Rich Eisen of the NFL Network, the Minnesota Vikings-New York Giants game will now be played at Ford Field in Detroit due to the Metrodome roof collapsing.

There’s a new kickoff time as well – 7:20 p.m. ET. The game will still be shown locally on Fox in the Minnesota and New York markets and on the NFL Ticket package.

Monday will also mark the first night game in Detroit in nearly a decade … and of course the Lions aren’t in it.

Fox Sports pregame show had exclusive video as the collapse happened. Pam Oliver did a live shot for FOX NFL Sunday this morning showing a pile of snow mid-field and the tattered sections of the roof dangling from above.
