Geraldo Rivera Outfoxed by CNN?

By Chris Ariens

FNC’s Geraldo Rivera tells the NYPost‘s Page Six, “The Most Trusted Name in News just chickened out.” Rivera is referring to being bumped from a CNN interview to promote his new book, “His Panic: Why Americans Fear Hispanics in the U.S.” Rivera was booked to talk to Nancy Grace later this month, but was uninvited, he says, because of a “blanket boycott” of Fox News talent on CNN. “This reveals a corporate insecurity,” says Rivera. A CNN rep told the Post it was nothing more than a scheduling conflict.

>More from an emailer: the transcript from a nearly two-year-old Larry King interview with Chris Wallace: “Larry, can I just say, that this is a real tribute to my father because I know before you could invite me as a host, an anchor at FOX, onto CNN, you had to go to the very top of CNN to invite me. And then I had to go to the very top of FOX to get permission to come on. So this is like television diplomacy all over again.”
