Geraldo Rivera is filling in for Regis Philbin on Live with Regis & Kelly Friday morning, TVNewser hears.
Anderson Cooper appeared on the broadcast (and revealed he had mice) in January. The connection between the two TV newsers brings to mind that infamous line from The New Republic in September: Cooper “is a Yale-educated Geraldo.”
“Really, who else but these two would fill in for Regis Philbin?,” an e-mailer asks. “Where goes Anderson, there goes Geraldo; where goes Geraldo, there’s Anderson.”
