Multichannel News reports some changes are coming to the nation’s largest market, home to the broadcast and cable news networks.

CNN, based in Atlanta, currently airs on channel 10 (710 HD) on Time Warner cable in New York City. But next month it will drop to channel 78 (778 HD). News Corp.’s FX will move to channel 10 (710 HD).

Despite sharing a name with CNN’s parent Time Warner, Time Warner Cable was spun out to shareholders in March.
