Fusion announced Friday it would host a town hall meeting with the Libertarian Party ticket, Gary Johnson and William Weld. Fusion’s Jorge Ramos and Alicia Menendez will moderate the event, airing Wednesday, Aug. 17 at 8 p.m. ET.
Fusion correspondents and contributors taking part in the questioning include Dan Lieberman, Kimberly Brooks, Alaa Basatneh, Natasha del Toro, Danny Rivero, Anna Sterling and Nico Ibarguen.
CNN has hosted two Libertarian town halls this election cycle, and Fox Business will host a town hall moderated by John Stossel on Aug. 26.
Fusion has previously hosted Hillary Clinton at a forum in Iowa in January, and has invited the Clinton and Donald Trump to sit for interviews. Trump previously agreed to talk to Jorge Ramos, but the Trump campaign has yet to agree to schedule the interview.
