Fusion has announced Jorge Ramos and Alicia Menendez will serve as moderators for the network’s upcoming Democratic presidential forum. Fusion contributor Akilah Hughes and New York magazine writer Rembert Browne will join the panel as questioners.
Fusion boss Isaac Lee described the panel as the most diverse of the election season. “Fusion is committed to elevating voices that reflect the diversity that makes our country strong,” Lee said in a statement.
Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders and Martin O’Malley have confirmed their participation in the event, the Iowa Brown and Black Presidential Forum, set for Jan. 11 in Des Moines. It marks the first presidential forum hosted by Fusion since the network launched in 2013.
