Fusion was up early, starting a day of special marijuana-related programming at 6 a.m. ET to mark 4/20, known as National Weed Day.
Fusion’s specials include the premiere of the documentary Evergreen: The Road to Legalization, a report, Grass: The History of Marijuana, and a marathon of episodes of the network’s original pot series The Cannabusiness Report, hosted by “chief cannabis correspondent” Ryan Nerz.
“Ride shotgun with (Nerz) as he travels to the cities where weed culture is both burgeoning and struggling,” the network said in a news release. “You’ll rub elbows with Ganjaprenuers as they vie for millions at the ArcView investor forum; spend time in the back seat of police cars along the Colorado borders where people are getting arrested for smuggling cannabis across state lines; and witness the latest developments in canna-technology.”
