With the Fusion launch just six days away, Alicia Menendez guest-hosted ABC’s “The View” this morning. Menendez, the daughter of New Jersey Senator Bob Menendez, will be a Miami-based anchor for the ABC News/Univision joint venture.
“It’s for all America, but it’s particularly for young America. We champion a young, diverse America at every turn: news, satire, pop culture, you name it,” Menendez said of Fusion.
Menendez got the chance to weigh in on pop culture during “The View’s” first topic of the morning, the engagement of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. “I think they are intriguing. I think they are very smart business women,” Menendez said of the Kardashians. “And yet at the same time I think some of their actions show us that you can have money but money doesn’t buy class.”
