• Marketwatch’s Jon Friedman profiles CNBC’s Trish Regan (as part of his month of Friday biz journalist profiles). Friedman writes, “Perhaps more than anyone else at the network, Regan seems to enjoy the work as much as the fame, money, influence and glamour.”
Friedman describes Regan’s drive, and she comments on the part of her job she enjoys the most. “There is nothing I like better than taking a complicated subject and teaching the viewers about it,” she said
• FNC anchor Gretchen Carlson is the focus of a feature by Camilla A. Herrera of the Stamford Advocate. The story describes Carlson’s typical day as Fox & Friends host.
“This is life and this is how people talk,” she says of the program. “These are discussions people have at the dinner table. We don’t always agree; we certainly change our minds. We have our convictions, but we also make fun of our mistakes.” (also — accompanying photo gallery).
