Fox News’s Kat Timpf was excited to speak at a campaign event last night for Ben Kissel, a friend who’s running for Brooklyn borough president. Unfortunately, what was supposed to be an upbeat evening took a significant turn for the worse, when a man approached Timpf and poured an entire bottle of water on her head.
Timpf, co-host of the network’s weekday 5 p.m. show Fox News Specialists, a correspondent on Greg Gutfeld Show, and a writer for the National Review, took to Twitter to express her shock and anger about the incident.
She has received support from cable newsers, including CNN’s Jake Tapper.
That is unacceptable and disgusting. I’m sorry you went thought that. He was a coward and a loser. Stay strong.
