Fox News Tops Cablers During President Obama’s Libya Speech

Last night at 7:30 PM ET, President Obama gave a prepared speech addressing the U.S. involvement in Libya. All three of the major cable news channels carried the address, as did the top four broadcast networks.

Broadcast network ratings will be available later, but for now, here is how the cablers stacked up from 7:30-8 PM:

  • FNC: 2,849,000 total viewers / 801,000 A25-54
  • CNN: 1,654,000 total viewers / 514,000 A25-54
  • MSNBC: 1,255,000 total viewers / 354,000 A25-54
  • HLN: 236,000 total viewers / 70,000 A25-54
