ABCers disagreed with yesterday’s item about Fox News Sunday beating This Week in D.C. over the weekend.
“They beat us in Washington only occasionally,” an insider said. “Last Sunday was the first time they beat us in five weeks!” The last time was on March 13, when FNS earned a 1.5 and ABC earned a 1.3. (Both earned a 4 share.) On Sunday, ABC beat Fox in 12 of the top 15 markets.
But Fox has recorded wins in many markets in the past month. Since the two shows started going head to head in D.C., FNS has beat This Week 15 out of 33 times. Fox’s Sunday morning talk has beaten ABC’s in the last two Washington sweeps periods, as well.
