Fox News Releases Election Coverage Plan

bump_baier_kelly_1Fox News Channel will again turn to Bret Baier and Megyn Kelly as lead anchors of the channel’s election night coverage, which will carry the “America’s Election HQ” title. Coverage on FNC will begin at 6 p.m. ET, and include cross-platform coverage on Fox digital platforms.

Shepard Smith will helm the network’s broadcast breaking coverage of midterm race results from the “FOX News Deck.” Bill Hemmer will be tasked with breaking down election results via the electronic “Bill-board,” while Martha MacCallum handles exit poll data. FNC’s coverage will include analysis from senior political analyst Brit Hume, FOX News Sunday host Chris Wallace, as well as contributors Bob Beckel, Stephen Hayes, Charles Krauthammer, Dana Perino, Kirsten Powers, Karl Rove, Joe Trippi, George Will and Juan Williams.

Online, Fox will produce continuous live coverage titled “The Strategy Room” from 9 p.m. through 11 p.m. ET, which will include feature news and analysis with a casual format and “spirited discussions.”
