Fox News No. 1 Again; Longest Winning Streak Ever

By Chris Ariens

With the massive audience for the GOP debate last Thursday, which was the most-watched show on all of TV last week, Fox News Channel was once again the top cable network for the week. FNC has now been No. 1 for 7 weeks in a row in total day viewing — a streak the network has never seen in its nearly 20-year existence. A 6-week winning streak, tied last week, was set during the early days of the Iraq War in 2003.

In the A25-54 demo, CNN was No. 4 in prime time and No. 9 in total day; MSNBC was No. 23 and No. 25, respectively.
