Fox News Hosts Break Vacations to Cover NYPD Killings, Political Fallout

By Mark Joyella

OReillyBill O’Reilly was off on Monday night, but the killing of two New York City police officers brought him back on the air because, he said, “I’m angry.”

O’Reilly called in to “The O’Reilly Factor” to “send a big message tonight.” O’Reilly then delivered a blistering attack on New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio. “He is a far left individual who is incompetent. He cannot run the City of New York.” O’Reilly argued that de Blasio is an “anti-cop” politician “who should resign today.”

Of the killer, O’Reilly described Ismaaiyl Brinsley as a “loser” who is the only one with “blood on his hands.” He said “I hope he’s enjoying Hell right now.”
