Appalachian State University freshman Tyler Hardin is Fox News Channel’s 2015 College Challenge Winner, as announced this morning on Fox & Friends.
Students were offered the opportunity to submit a news package, with the winner receiving $10,000, a trip to NYC and a chance to interview for job or internship at Fox News.
Hardin’s winning news story focused on police officers in Guilford County, NC wearing body cameras. Hardin said this experience has been, “such a thrill,” and the check is “definitely going right into the tuition account.”

The contest was open to all-four year undergraduate college students across the county.
