Freed To Kill, a Fox Nation docuseries presented and produced by Robert Riggs, a Peabody Award-winning investigative reporter, was honored with a 2022 Silver Telly Award.
The five-part docuseries deals with how the serial killer Kenneth McDuff, a death row inmate, was released on parole in Texas under a cloud of corruption. Former U.S. prosecutor Bill Johnston who launched the search for McDuff is also featured in the docuseries.
The Telly Awards was founded in 1979 and annually showcases the best work created within television and across video for all screens.
