Fox & Friends Ask If Trevor Noah is a ‘Fox Hater’

By Mark Joyella

“Fox & Friends” took up the question of Trevor Noah, freshly-minted as the replacement for “Daily Show” host Jon Stewart, who has come under fire for a series of tweets that have been called sexist and anti-Semitic.

In a segment Wednesday morning, the hosts wondered if Noah could survive the Twitter-storm, and if so, whether he’d use his perch at Comedy Central to be a “Fox hater.”

Host Brian Kilmeade said the execs at Comedy Central must be “high-fiving each other every day. This is exactly what they wanted,” suggesting the controversy will boost ratings. “But don’t worry, when it’s all said and done, he’s going to go back to his bread and butter and that’s attacking Fox. That’s what the “Daily Show” does, no matter who’s hosting.”
