Fox Business Announcement: Bolling Officially Joins FBN

TVNewser has learned that FBN is expected to make a talent related announcement this afternoon… stay tuned.

> Update: The announcement is that Eric Bolling is joining FBN as a contributor. Bolling has been on the Fox airwaves even before there was an FBN, since he left CNBC in August.

Bolling is a regular on FBN now, appearing almost daily, but has previously been identified as an, “Independent trader.”

ERIC BOLLING JOINS FOX BUSINESS NETWORK

Independent trader Eric Bolling has joined FOX Business Network (FBN) as a contributor, announced Kevin Magee, Executive Vice President, FOX News.

In making the announcement, Magee said, “We’re looking forward to Eric serving in a number of roles on FBN. Eric brings over twenty years of Wall Street trading experience and we’re thrilled to have him join our team.”

Bolling added, “I’m very proud to join FBN and have the opportunity to bring my market expertise to the network.”

Currently, Bolling serves as an independent trader based from his office at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX), the world’s largest trading center for energy, where he specializes in trading a variety of commodities including crude oil, gold and agricultural commodities. He also actively trades equities, options and derivatives in various forms and is a member of IntercontinentalExchange (ICE), the NYMEX and the Commodities Exchange of New York. For five years, Bolling served on the NYMEX’s Board of Directors, and subsequently acted as a strategic advisor there.

Previously, Bolling was a CNBC contributor for two years, including his stint as a panelist on Fast Money, where he offered expertise on a wide range of investments.
