NBC News has brought on former National Counterterrorism Center director Michael Leiter as a counterterrorism, cybersecurity and national security analyst. Leiter will report for all platforms of NBC News and MSNBC. Until July, Leiter served as director of the NCTC – first serving under the Bush administration and then in the Obama administration. Leiter also serves as the Senior Counselor to the CEO of Palantir Technologies.
