Former FNC Exec Jerry Burke Joins CNBC

By Chris Ariens

Jerry Burke has joined CNBC as executive producer of the mid-day show Power Lunch. Burke had a short stint at the TV Guide Network and before that was an EP at Fox News Channel. Burke left FNC in March of last year where he’d been co-EP of Fox & Friends.

CNBC SVP Jonathan Wald’s email to the staff, after the jump…

In case you weren’t able to make it to the 8:30 meeting or dial in, I wanted to share with everyone some exciting changes we’re making in the newsroom. Jerry Burke is joining us as Executive Producer. Jerry has previously worked at Fox News and was most recently at the TV Guide Network in Los Angeles where he created, produced, and launched their new, hour long, nightly broadcast. Jerry will begin his work with us on the first hour of Power Lunch. I’ve asked Ramona Schindelheim to help Jerry get up to speed as she takes a step up to her new role as Executive Producer across all of Business Day. In this new position Ramona will work with every hour on continuity, creativity, and better integrating the breaking news desk with each program. Ramona will also lead the creation of instant series and network-wide initiatives. Please join me in wishing Jerry and Ramona well in their new roles.
