FNC’s New Pitch: We’re The Only Live Net

Heading into a commercial this afternoon, teasing potential good news from Mt. Hood, Brian Wilson promoted FNC as the only live cable news option:

 “We are going to stay on this story, and quite frankly, right now on cable news this is the only place you can stay updated on this story, so stay here with the Fox News Channel.”

 
Wilson made similar remarks last week, when MSNBC stopped airing Sunday afternoon newscasts. He said:

 “If you want real news on cable right now, if you want to know what’s going on in the world, well the other guys, the M place, the C place, they’re in tape right now! This is the only place you can get live news as it happens this time of day on the weekend.”
