FNC’s Jeanine Pirro Allowed in Courtroom for Durst Hearing

By Brian Flood

Fox News host Jeanine Pirro was in New Orleans yesterday when murder suspect Robert Durst was deemed a flight risk and denied bail. Pirro was the Westchester County DA who pursued murder charges against Durst after the 1982 disappearance of his wife Kathleen. Now a TV newser, Pirro also broke the news of Durst’s latest arrest back on March 14.

Pirro was in the courtroom covering the story for FNC, but Durst’s lawyers wanted Pirro removed from court because she is a potential witness, according to the New York Post. The judge denied the motion to have Pirro testify and she returned to the courtroom for the remainder of the hearing, reportedly with a smile on her face.

Durst is due back in court on April 2 and you can bet the FNC host will be in attendance.
