The new FNC documentary Facing Reality, Choice focuses on three women, the circumstances they are in, and the choices they make as they decide whether to terminate a pregnancy.
The special, hosted by E.D. Hill, follows one woman into the operating room as she undergoes an abortion. According to a write-up on FOXNews.com, “in the scene, FOX does not focus on the surgical details of the abortion procedure, but it is emotionally wrenching, however, as the woman cries…” The website also reports that the documentary “does not touch at all on the political debate or legal analysis surrounding abortion.”
Variety‘s Brian Lowry says the program exhibits “understated restraint” and tackles “a delicate subject with welcome sobriety.” Facing Reality, he writes, “avoids taking sides in chronicling young women’s experiences.”
Facing Reality, Choice airs Saturday on FNC at 9pmET.
