FNC’s Bret Baier has an exclusive interview with Vice President Dick Cheney, part of a documentary running tonight, Dick Cheney: No Retreat. During the sit-down, Cheney reveals he disagreed with President Bush over the dismissal of Don Rumsfeld as Secretary of Defense, saying, “Don was the right guy to continue to lead the Department of Defense.”
On the subject of his role as VP, Cheney told Baier, “I do the best I can to give (the President) the kind of advice that I can. Sometimes he takes it. Sometimes he doesn’t.”
Lynne Cheney is also interviewed for the special. It airs tonight at 9pmET on FNC.
