While we await final, updated cable ratings for Wednesday, we do know that FNC’s coverage of President Bush’s address to the nation that nigt was its highest-rated presidential address in four years. All three cable news networks saw their viewership go up at 9:15. So, while some viewers watched on the broadcasters, they turned to the cable channels for analysis. Again FNC came in first, with anchor Brit Hume. On CNN, Larry King benefited the most at 9:15. He had former Pres. Bill Clinton on as a guest.
