Fox News Channel was the 5th most-favored cable network in the 2007 Beta survey. That is the highest spot for a news channel. CNN was 8th, MSNBC was 29th and CNBC was 36th. The survey is based on 700 interviews of cable subscribers, representing a national sample. The survey, which was conducted in July and August, asks each person to list their top five favorite channels. 17% chose FNC (the same percentage as last year).
