Fox News Channel contributors Ellen Ratner and Jim Pinkerton are receiving honorary degrees tomorrow from St. George’s University at a commencement ceremony at Lincoln Center in New York.

The duo is notorious for having opposite views on the political landscape, with Ratner a liberal while Pinkerton is conservative. The two used to be paired on FNC’s morning news program Fox And Friends as part of an on-going segment The Long and Short Of It.

jIMPINKERTONAccording to the school’s website, Ratner is a “long time friend and ally” to St. George’s University. She visited the campus as a prospective student back in 1978. Pinkerton has given numerous lectures at the university and has been a contributor to FNC since it launched in 1996.
