Compared to February 2010, the network is down -21% in total viewers and down -26% in younger viewers for total day viewing (Mon-Sun). In primetime (Mon-Fri, 8-11pm), HLN is down even more: -30% in total viewers and down -32% in younger viewers. The networks #1 show “Nancy Grace” slipped to fourth place behind FNC, MSNBC and CNN at 8pm and is down -24% in total viewers and down -33% in younger viewers, year-over-year.
“Morning Express” continues as the #2 morning show in younger viewers beating CNN’s “American Morning” and MSNBC’s “Morning Joe”, but it too is down slightly compared to a year ago. This is the 23rd month “Express” has topped “Joe” in younger viewers. In total viewers, the MSNBC show is now in second place behind “Fox & Friends.”
