B&C‘s Glen Dickson writes about the business channel battle, in HD: “FBN’s hi-def service, which will be produced and transmitted in the 720-line-progressive scan format, will differentiate itself from CNBC’s hi-def service by offering a true widescreen 16:9 picture. CNBC HD+ [is] placing its existing 4:3 picture on the left-hand side of the HD screen and filling the right side with graphics.”
