Fox News Channel’s The O’Reilly Factor and MSNBC’s The Rachel Maddow Show maintained their holds on the top two spots of the Experian Hitwise list of the top three cable-news-show websites for the week ending June 4, while Fox News’ On the Record with Greta Van Susteren seized third place from MSNBC’s The Last Word.
The top two late-night talk-show sites were unchanged for the third consecutive week — Comedy Central’s The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and The Colbert Report — but NBC’s Late Night with Jimmy Fallon edged network sibling The Tonight Show with Jay Leno out of the third spot.
As usual, the morning-news-show rankings were: NBC’s Today, ABC’s Good Morning America, and CBS’ The Early Show.

The top-three broadcast-network websites were in the opposite order of the week ending May 28: CBS, ABC, Fox. Speaking of Fox, American Idol maintained its grip on the No. 1 position on the broadcast-show-site list, with Fox’s Glee moving up to No. 2 from No. 3, and CBS’ NCIS crashing the list in third place, voting out Fox’s American Idol. New entries to the top 25 were ABC’s The Bachelorette (to No. 5 from No. 41), ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (15 from 37), and Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance (18 from 35).
The top three adults-only cable-show sites were the same as last week, with the latter two swapping positions: Comedy’s South Park, and MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew and 16 & Pregnant. Top 25 movers were VH1’s Basketball Wives (9 from 22), MTV’s Teen Wolf (12 from 24), and History’s Ice Road Truckers (23 from 47).
The list of combined broadcast and cable shows welcomed a little Latin flair, as Telemundo’s La Reina del Sur surged into the No. 3 spot, trailing Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants and South Park, respectively, and displacing Idol from the top three. The only new top 25 entry was The Bachelorette (22 from 120).
