Now that the Nielsen error has been corrected, things seems to be back to normal among the evening newscasts.
Last week, “NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams” was No. 1 among total viewers, while ABC’s “World News Tonight with David Muir” was No. 1 in the A25-54 demo. But it was No. 3 “CBS Evening News with Scott Pelley” that showed the most growth in the demo: up +8% compared to the same week last year.
“World News Tonight” was also up in the demo (+6%) while “Nightly” was down in the demo (-3%). Both ABC and NBC were up +4% in total viewers.
