Evening News Ratings: Week of Oct. 30

ABC World News Tonight with David Muir remains No. 1 in the evenings, and, for the first time in 21 years, has been the most-watched newscast for the first six weeks of the 2017-2018 TV season.

WNT was also the only program to see growth vs. the comparable week last year. Muir’s broadcast was up +5 percent in viewers and down -2 percent in the A25-54 demo.

NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt continues as the most-watched show in the demo–its 72nd week at No. 1. Nightly News was down -1 percent in viewers and down -6 percent in the demo.

The CBS Evening News, which will soon get a new anchor in Jeff Glor, is also down vs. last year, down -5 percent in viewers and down -16 percent in the demo.
