Evening News Ratings: Week of Oct. 26

NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt wins another week in the evenings, but ABC’s World News Tonight with David Muir trailed by just 17,000 total viewers, the closest its been in four months. The gap during the same week last year was 575,000 viewers, meaning ABC cut the gap with NBC by -97 percent.

Only the CBS Evening News with Scott Pelley experienced growth in both total viewers and the A25-54 demo compared to the same week last year. CBS was up +9 percent in viewers, and up +8 percent in the demo. Nightly News was down -2 percent in viewers but up +3 percent in the demo, while World News Tonight was up +5 percent in viewers and down -2 percent in the demo.
