Evening News Ratings: Week of Oct. 16

ABC World News Tonight with David Muir remains No. 1 in the evenings, and was the only program to see growth last week compared to the same week last year. Muir’s broadcast was up +3 percent in viewers and flat among the A25-54 demo.

NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt continues as the most-watched show in the demo, with a +3 percent lead on World News Tonight. Nightly News is down vs. last year: down -2 percent in viewers and down -12 percent in the demo.

The CBS Evening News is also down vs. last year, down -5 percent in viewers and down -14 percent in the demo.

Due to Thursday Night Football, CBS Evening News ratings are based on 4 days (Mon-Wed and Fri).
