“NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams” was the most-watched evening newscast last week. Both “Nightly” and No. 2 “ABC World News with Diane Sawyer” saw their best averages since the week of April 15. But it was No. 3 “CBS Evening News with Scott Pelley” that saw the most viewer growth compared to the same week last year.
Pelley’s broadcast was up +6% in viewers, but down -4% in the demo. “Nightly” was up +2% in viewers and down -8% in the demo while “World News” was down -3% in viewers and down -11% in the demo.
