As the days get shorter and the nights get colder, more Americans are tuning into the evening newscasts. Last week all three network broadcasts grew in both total viewers and the demo from the prior week.
“NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams” holds first place in viewers and was up +3% compared to the same week last year, but down -5% in the A25-54 demo.
ABC’s “World News Tonight with David Muir” regained the No. 1 spot in the A25-54 demo, and saw the most overall growth: up +9% in viewers and up a whopping +16% in the demo vs. last year.
The “CBS Evening News with Scott Pelley” experienced +4% viewer growth, but was down -1% in the demo.
