ABC’s World News was #1 for the sixth straight week in total viewers. The gap between ABC and second-place NBC tightened compared to the week before, from 690,000 to 480,000.
NBC must be heartened by Nightly News’ demo delivery. In the key 25-54 demo, ABC and NBC tied for the week, with 1.9’s. “This is the third straight week of growth for Nightly,” NBC says, up from a 1.7 the week of May 14 and a 1.8 the week of May 21.
