With news of another school shooting and the run-up to the royal wedding, both ABC and NBC saw evening news viewer growth last week, compared to the same week last year.
ABC’s World News Tonight with David Muir was the most-watched newscast, and was up +8 percent in viewers and up +5 percent in the demo. NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt was most-watched in the A25-54 demo, and was up +5 percent in viewers and up +1 percent in the demo. CBS Evening News with Jeff Glor was down vs. last year, down -7 percent in viewers and down -11 percent in the demo.
