The evening news programs bounced back a bit last week from the low-rated week prior, with all three newscasts growing in both total viewers and the demo.
“NBC Nightly News” extended the first-place gap, which had shrunk considerably in the last few weeks, with “ABC World News.” Both newscasts were up year-to-year in total viewers, while NBC and CBS were up in the demo.
“CBS Evening News” saw the largest jump in viewership week-to-week, increasing nearly 600,000 total viewers.
