Evening News Ratings: Week of June 26

ABC’s World News Tonight wins another week in the evenings, while NBC Nightly News is No. 1 in the A25-54 demo. The CBS Evening News, meanwhile, continues to see the largest year-over-year viewer losses.

Compared to the same week last year CBS is down -12 percent in viewers and down -23 percent in the demo. The broadcast is being anchored by Anthony Mason as the network seeks an anchor to replace Scott Pelley who departed the show last month.

World News Tonight and Nightly News also saw viewer losses: ABC was down -2 percent in viewers and down -10 percent in the demo. NBC was down -8 percent in viewers and down -16 percent in the demo.

On Friday CBS Evening News was retitled “CBS Evening Nws” removing it from the average. CBS’s averages are based on four days (Mon-Thur). NBC and ABC are based on five days.
