NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt took back the win among younger viewers last week, while ABC’s World News Tonight with David Muir continues as most-watched in the evenings.
World News Tonight was the only broadcast to see growth, up less than a half percent in viewers and up +4 percent in the demo.
While Nightly’s demo win was by just +15,000 viewers, or +1 percent, the NBC broadcast was down compared to the same week last year, down -3 percent in viewers and down -8 percent in the demo. CBS Evening News was also down year-over-year, down -7 percent in viewers and down -13 percent in the demo.
