All three evening newscasts saw a big jump in viewership last week, compared to the same week last year.
CBS Evening News with Scott Pelley was up the most in viewers (+10 percent), and had its best A25-54 rating in nearly two years. NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt was No. 1 in both viewers and the demo for the week, topping 10 million viewers and seeing the most growth in the demo (+19 percent).
ABC’s World News Tonight with David Muir was up as well, and had its most-watched week in more than a year, since Jan. 5 2015 when much of the nation was gripped by the polar vortex.
