
For the second week in a row, the three evening newscasts have shed viewers compared to the same week last year, losing about 1.7 million viewers across the three broadcasts.
NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt won the week, in both total viewers and the demo, but ABC’s World News with David Muir got within .5 percent of Nightly in viewers. NBC held a +5 percent lead in the A25-54 demo.
Nightly was down -8 percent in viewers and down -12 percent in the demo; World News Tonight was down -6 percent and down -13 percent, respectively. The CBS Evening News with Scott Pelley was down -4 percent and down -8 percent.
