NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt came in first in all categories for the fourth quarter of 2015. Nightly News has been No. 1 in total viewers for 32 of the last 33 quarters. In the A25-54 demo, Nightly News has been No. 1 for 28 of the last 31 quarters.
Nightly News has shown growth compared to the same period last year, albeit it’s only up +1 percent. World News Tonight with David Muir is basically stagnant compared to Q4 last year, while CBS Evening News with Scott Pelley saw the most growth (up +4 percent) despite finishing third.
NBC’s newscast is also No. 1 in both viewers and the demo for the week of December 21, with World News Tonight finishing second in both categories.
