Lester Holt has helped make Nightly News the No. 1 newscast for all 11 weeks he’s been anchor. The NBC broadcast has also been No. 1 in the A25-54 demo for 10 of the last 11 weeks winning both measurements last week.
Season to date, World News Tonight with David Muir is averaging 461,000 more viewers, compared to the same period last year. Muir took over the broadcast a year ago last week.
NBC is based on a 4-day average (Mon-Wed, Fri) due to sports in several markets giving Nightly News coverage in 92 percent of the nation.
