Evening News Ratings: Week of August 17

NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt wins another week in the evenings, its fourth in a row in all measurements. In fact, Nightly had its best outing since the week of June 29, Holt’s second official week in the anchor chair. ABC’s World News Tonight with David Muir showed the most year-over-year growth in viewers (+10 percent) while Nightly News was up the most in the demo (+7 percent). CBS Evening News with Scott Pelley (with Charlie Rose filling in) was down in both measurements: -3 percent in viewers and down -11 percent in the demo.
