“NBC Nightly News” held the top spot as the most-watched evening newscast last week. With the Olympics over, its lead diminished somewhat from its high during the games, but it still led the way in both total viewers and adults 25-54.
Compared to the same week last year, NBC was up slightly in both total and demo viewers, while “ABC World News” and “CBS Evening News” were down slightly in both categories.
