Evening News Ratings: Week of April 20

David Muir‘s “World News Tonight” was back on top in both total viewers and the A25-54 demo last week. It’s the fourth win in a row in total viewers and third time in the last four weeks in the A25-54 demo.

“World News Tonight” also saw the most year-over-year growth. Compared to the same week last year the Muir newscast was up +11 percent in total viewers and up +9 percent in the demo. The “CBS Evening News with Scott Pelley” also saw growth: up +8 percent in viewers and up +1 percent in the demo. “Nightly News” with Lester Holt was down -3 percent in viewers and down -6 percent in the demo.
