As Sree Sreenivasan, head of the new media department at Columbia University’s School of Journalism, puts it: “Who are Fox’s medical reporters? Do you know? Do you know who the medical reporters at NBC are? Even people who don’t watch news know who Sanjay Gupta is. That says something.”
